Ertugrul:
       
                was father of " Osman ". According to Ottoman tradition, " Ertugrul " was the son of " Suleyman Shah ", the leader of " Kayi tribe " who fled from western central Asia to Anatolia escape the mongol conquest. After his father death " Ertugrul " and his followers entered the service of the " Sultanate of Rum ", " Ertugrul " is often referred to as a " Ghazi ", a heroic champion fighter for the cause of " Islam ".

Tomb of Suleyman Shah:

In early 2015, during the " Syrian Civil War ", on the night of 21-22 February 2015, a " Turkish Military " convoy including tanks and other armored vehicles numbering about 100 entered Syria to evacuate the tomb of " Syleyman Shah ". The tomb is now temporarily located in turkey-controlled territory 200 meters inside of Syria, 22 km west of Ayn al-Arab and 5 km east of the Euphrates, less than 2 km southeast of the Turkish village of Esmesi that is in southernmost Birecik District.

Hayme Hatun:

also known as " Hayme Ana " was the mother of " Ertugrul " the leader of the " Kayi tribe, and the grandmother of "Osman I", the founder of the " Ottoman Empire ". She was of  " Turkish "descent and the belonged to a "Turkmen" family.

Dundar Bey:

around 1210 or 1211-1298 was the youngest son of kayi Bey " Suleyman Shah", younger brother of "Ertugrul" and the evil uncle of Osman I. When his brother "Ertugrul" died in 1281, the next leader of the Kayi tribe became Ertugrul's son "Osman Bey" later known as the founder of the 'Ottoman Empire".
